For
the first time I will be blogging about a retail company in South Africa – and what
an honour it is indeed. I was first introduced to this brand via a friend on
Facebook, and once I saw the amazing accessories they had, I simply had to
contact them for a blog post.
Klines
started as a small company with 5 people in head office and it has now grown to
24 stores nationwide and a large work force. They focus on giving our customer
the full offering meaning, they do not just specialise in jewellery but also
hats, bags, scarves and more. Klines wants their brand to be remarkable and they
want their customer to feel WOWED when she walks into the store and sees the
beautiful product. Another remarkable aspect from Klines is the fact that they
care for the environment and they use recyclable carding for their jewellery to
hang on. This brand also believes that it is important to support the local
production and designs of products – another key aspect that will only better
them in the South African market. With accessories that is up to date and on
trend – they offer their consumer any accessory her heart desires.
Klines
offer their consumer a wide variety of Jewellery, Handbags, Evening Bags
Purses, Scarves, Head Jewellery, Hair accessories, flash tattoos, sunglasses,
watches, hats, flip flops and body jewellery. This is most definitely a one
stop accessories shop. This brand does not make use of brand ambassadors as
they feel that every person in the company is their brand ambassador and they feel
that the consumers who wears and loves their products will promote it on their
own. With branches located from Cape Town to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Vaal-area,
Witbank, Welkom, Polokwane, Nelspruit, Middelburg, Durban, Bloemfontein,
Kimberley, Richarsbay and even Kathu, Klines most certainly knows what their
consumer wants and provides in thei every need.
This
brand has also been featured in several publications such as Sarie and
Fairlady. When I asked what their experience was with bloggers, Klines replied
by saying the following:
“We feel that bloggers are a very
important voice in the South-African market. Bloggers have the freedom to
choose what they want to write about and the blog-readers know that the
information they are getting on blogs come from an authentic and honest source.
It is therefore a great honour to be talked about in the blogging community
seeing that it creates exposure for our brand in a very authentic way.”
It
is such a beautiful thing to see that strong, independent companies like Klines
supports South African bloggers as well.
I
would like to thank Elzaan, the social media and communication liaison from
Klines for answering all the questions I had about this brand.
I
know that Klines has an even better and brighter future in the South African
market.
